PARC Specialist, Life Coach, M.ED
Born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire 90 minutes away from Boston, Sierra has always loved visiting cities and dreamed of living in Boston one day.
After graduating from Keene State College with a B.A in Political Science, Sierra moved to Puerto Rico and worked as a mentor at Surf House PR, now known as Pacia Life Puerto Rico. From there, Sierra followed her lifelong dream of living in Boston, committing to 1,700 hours of community service in Boston Public Schools as a mentor in a middle school through an AmeriCorps program. There, she specialized in social emotional learning, attendance tracking and academic tutoring, and discovered her passion for education and teaching. She was then accepted into Teach For America and placed in a third grade classroom working primarily with English language learners in a city north of Boston.
While teaching and becoming a certified teacher in the state of Massachusetts, Sierra also obtained a Masters in Education at Boston University. In her spare time Sierra loves to hang out with her dog Mijo who she rescued from Puerto Rico
