Wedjeena was born in Haiti and immigrated to Massachusetts in 2000. Wedjeena was raised and attended school in the Somerville and Cambridge Area.
At a young age, Wedjeena started getting involved in mental health and community sustainability projects. Through all those experiences she’s learned the importance of youth voices. Since then she’s been committed supporting youth by being an advocate.
Previously, she worked at various youth programs and has experience directing programs geared towards dismantling the achievement gap and the socio-emotional development of young people in the Cambridge and Boston Area. She currently is a junior at Lesley University majoring in Art Therapy.
With knowledge from her courses and previous work/life experience, Wedjeena brings ‘hands-on’ self-awareness and intrapersonal skills to the young adults who are a part of Pacia Boston!
In her personal life, Wedjeena loves to read, spend time with her family and is a huge Marvel Cinematic Universe fan. She also loves to have conversations with people from various walks of life.
