Michael Falcone, BA
Michael earned a B.A. from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, focusing on primary and special education. He has spent the last several years working on academic reform at schools around the United States with Main Street Academics as well as teaching in schools throughout Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He moved to Puerto Rico from Antigua where he taught at an International Baccalaureate School while coaching a world class sailing team. Currently, Michael is earning his Masters Degree right here in Puerto Rico. He is a Cape Cod local, home of the famous Wellfleet oyster, where he was an oyster farmer, avid surfer, and competitive sailor. His family has lived in Rincon for more than 15 years, giving Michael the experience and culture immersion that makes him a vital member of the staff here at Surf House.
Michael believes that learning is a life-long process, a multi-dimensional journey of self discovery and growth.
