Growing up in rural North Carolina within a deep southern rooted family, Sarah Pruitt learned at a young age the importance of integrity, hard work, and perseverance. By the age of 5, she was riding horses and began competing at age 12. She hasn’t stopped riding since, and it is a major part of her life to this day.
During her tenure at Averett University, a private college in Virginia, Sarah majored in Business Management and Equestrian Studies. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to train and study under world renowned trainers, teachers, and clinicians within her field. Her passion for the equine community blossomed even further during her time with Averett, and she went on to join the professional field as an accomplished trainer and manager on the South Carolina coast.
Aside from her equestrian lifestyle, Sarah’s passions also lie within the outdoors. You will regularly find Sarah out on the water in her kayak, hiking, and spending time doing both with her beloved companion dog, Mya, who is a favorite here at Pacia.
While managing her equine facility in South Carolina, Sarah quickly discovered she enjoyed making a difference in others lives through sharing her passions and skills. She began exploring different opportunities that would allow her to highlight this part of her life; it was then that she found her new beginning with Pacia.
